With its 7 x 7 miles of distinct neighborhoods, cherished bridges, heart-pumping hills and incomparable vistas, the city offers an array of experiences. Explore the city and discover how easy it is to connect with nature as you encounter expansive parks and scenic coastlines amidst the urban background. Visiting the many sights and attractions of the city from Chinatown and Lombard Street to the Palace of Fine Arts and the mansions of Pacific Heights will give you an appreciation of the rich history and culture of the city. The Tour
Spend an inspiring few days in the city as Lisa Hampton of Mindful Fitness ensures that your experiences are fun, enjoyable and stress-free. In creating the tour, Lisa emphasizes a mindful and sensory approach. There are moments that we are overjoyed because of the awe that we feel when all of our senses are awakened. Breathing deeply while practicing yoga on the labyrinth at the majestic Grace Cathedral with the light pouring in the stain glass windows is one such moment. Monday
We begin at noon on Monday with a leisurely lunch followed by an afternoon city walk to include Chinatown, North Beach, Lombard Street, Union Street and Pacific Heights. Lots of walking and sightseeing but stopping at a cafe for a rest and a coffee or tea will be well-deserved! The evening is yours to enjoy.

Tuesday
We start early as a private tour has been arranged to Muir Woods. We are picked up at our hotel around 7:30 and our guide will take us on an escorted 3-4 mile hike through the beautiful woods. We are then driven to Sausalito where you may decide to stay awhile before your return on the ferry. The afternoon is yours to enjoy. We re-group at our hotel at 5:15 to walk over to Grace Cathedral for our magical yoga on the labyrinth experience! After class, we’ll enjoy dinner together at a nearby restaurant.

Wednesday
Another early morning, we’ll take a city bus out to Land’s End where we’ll explore this scenic and rugged area and hike surrounded by cypress and wildflowers. There’s even a labyrinth for us to enjoy! Having worked up an appetite, we’ll have lunch at the Cliff House Bistro with its spectacular views before heading back to our hotel.

As the tour concludes, you may choose to stay on another day or two and enjoy the beauty and diversity that San Francisco has to offer.
