Testimonials

Before taking yoga, I suffered with chronic back spasms that would take me out of work for a couple of days and leave me with substantial pain for at least a week at a time. I noticed after about a year of taking regular classes, I no longer had the back spasms. Also, currently, I have moderate to severe joint pain along with swelling. The only exercise which helps is yoga (and swimming). This keeps me on the job and productive!  Jennifer P.

Participating in yoga has improved my strength and flexibility. And I am convinced that the increased flexibility has relieved me of the discomfort and pain I had experienced due to an arthritis condition in my neck. Before I began practicing yoga, I was taking Vioxx for the pain. After attending about 8 yoga sessions, the pain disappeared, and I no longer take Vioxx. I highly recommend yoga and Mindful Fitness. You will be impressed with the results!!!!  Patrick H.

EVERYONE is really enjoying the class and Laura is a great instructor, we couldn’t ask for a better class.  Jill Lantz, AimLoan.com

As a Judge, I find Yoga invaluable. A great deal of my work life is spent sitting which results in poor posture and achy joints. Since I have started Yoga, I sit and walk tall and my achiness has all but disappeared. If I miss my one time a week Yoga session, my body knows it and it is reflected in my work product and mood.  Louisa P.

I play soccer and basketball and I was frequently turning an ankle or pulling a muscle, so I began to practice yoga, in hopes of reducing this problem. It has worked wonderfully for that, and in addition, the rest of my body has become more flexible and stronger. I also stand an inch taller than ever before, due to better strength and alignment in my back.  Marcia P.

I have gained so many benefits from being in your class. One of the main benefits Yoga has given me is becoming more aware of my posture, whether I am sitting at my desk or walking down the hall, and how I stand when I am waiting in lines. Another very important benefit is the ability to “just be” and relax. Thank you for giving me that.  Cathy G.

Ms. Hampton is a terrific teacher who has made yoga enjoyable and rewarding for me. I have found not only that her classes provide me with relaxation during my busy workdays, but that the classes have helped me learn how to increase my flexibility, which is my primary goal in taking the classes. I highly recommend Ms. Hampton to anyone who has an interest in yoga.  Jan A.

Yoga has become an essential part of my life because of the physical calm and mental clarity it evokes. The benefit of focusing time stretching, breathing and balancing during the work day is that these three dynamics enhance productivity.  Kristi P.

Among multiple other benefits, the yoga from Lisa has been great for my golf game. Yoga significantly enhances the flexibility needed for golf and prevents strains and other injuries.   Greg P.

I have rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia, along with a bad back. Doing yoga keeps me more flexible and lessens the pain.  Roma L.

My job requires me to sit a large percentage of the time and I use a computer. Yoga has helped relieve the tension in my neck and back. I find it energizing and am more aware of my posture while I am sitting. A big improvement!  Tina B.

I have been a lunch time runner for 10 years and recently introduced yoga to my weekly routine. Yoga has challenged my body immensely and, as a result, has increased my flexibility and strength. I have also found that I feel taller when I leave class, which relates to yoga’s ability to improve posture.  Gina D.

I’m relatively new to yoga, but could immediately feel its benefits from the very first. The rewards of yoga far exceed the investment. Lisa is a wonderful instructor — with a unique ability to both calm and inspire.  Jill B.

Afternoon yoga has made a tremendous difference in my mental and physical health. Yoga with Lisa provides a wonderful respite from the hectic world, and she sends me back to my day renewed, refreshed and relaxed.  Renee S.
